If you're sick of LSAT prep companies giving you unnecessary theories and convoluted techniques, this is the book for you! This book along with "Cheating the LSAT" and "Exposing the LSAT" gives you an intuitive approach to the test and provides a detailed explanation for every single passage and question. My favorite is the logical reasoning section which also highlights common errors found throughout the test. Nathan shows you how to approach the question without having to spend 500 pages of "logical theory." If you want to truly understand the LSAT and learn to beat it, this is the book for you.
I've used every one of Nathan's LSAT prep books and find them to be more digestible than other companies. Nathan has a sense of humor that I appreciate and makes the arduous task of preparing for the LSAT more fun and enjoyable. I am sure with a committment to doing the work I will achieve my intended results with the help from Nathan's expertise and experience.
I purchased two of Nathan Fox's books while I started studying for the LSAT abroad. Nathan's style of teaching is (in my opinion) much more helpful than a lot of the other books out there. He doesn't give you anything to memorize or "tricks," he just teaches you how to take the test.I compiled everything I found useful in Nathan's book into my own notes about troubling concepts, and used this when I was self studying.I ended up scoring a 170 in December 2012. These books were integral in understanding the basics and getting started. The LSAT can be pretty frustrating at first go -- these definitely help you get started.Disclaimer: I also took a class, which was really helpful. However, if you're looking for outside resources and/ or getting started before taking a class, I recommend Nathan's books over any others.
I loved the way the author explain things because it took the element of fear away from taking this very challenging test. This is key because your emotional state plays a big part in whether you do well or not on the test. I didn't only use this as a resource because it just covers one test. I got prep tests and applied what I had learned here to prepare for the LSAT.
Great practice and explanations. The author is down to earth and funny, which makes studying this crap easier.

The LSATs can be a daunting endeavor and the whole culture of this particular exam is in and of itself terrifying. For someone like me who doesn't stress much, I was unprepared for the sheer lunacy that is this test and the high-strung individuals who subject themselves to the unnecessary stress and fear (chill out kids, it's a test and you will succeed only if you drop the bouts of psychosis and hysteria). Nevertheless, when I got this book my shreds of discomfort were assuaged. As Nathan warns readers, learning the LSATs is like riding a bike...you will fall many times before you wobble, and then ride like a plebeian and before you become that BMX rider of the LSAT you will probably crash into a few more poles before you get the hang of it. This book is beyond amazing. I bombed the first practice test, and cried in the midst of a logic game because I was so frustrated--Juan, Hannah, Lisa and car configurations? What?? Nevertheless, the book is to the point, concise in explanations and absolutely engaging. I was so dumbfounded by the thoroughness of this book that i decided to contact Nathan Fox, and he responded immediately, which is phenomenal given that I'm all the way on the other side of the nation. I genuinely didn't think he would but kudos to him for responding soooo fast! I really wish I could take his class in California! Nevertheless, this is a must buy regardless of your method of preparation. Thank you again Mr. Fox.
