Another exciting book by Isabella. This is the 3rd book in The American Yakuza Series and only leaves you wanting more. Her characters are vibrant with colorful backgrounds and if you have read the other two books you are left wondering what more will come from this exciting series. Luce is a strong woman with much control and until now you might have thought Brook was simply a lipstick lesbian. After this book who do you think is the stronger woman? I now find myself wondering when we will see book #4? There has to be a book 4! Can't Wait! if you like, mystery, suspense and crime with a little sex added in and enjoy sitting at the edge of your seat while reading this is definitely another great book for you.

This is a superb story. A thriller at its finest. Mixing romance with mindblowing gripping actions. The author describes very vividly the abuse and the aggression inflicted by two enemies of the worst kind. This, without getting into unnecessary detail. It is well written, very intriguing and with twists you won't see coming. I had a hard time putting it down. Yes, another outstanding part of an awesome series and it was absolutely worth waiting for.

Yeah, I'm going to need more Luce Potter in my future. This one ended with unfinished business. Which is excellent because it signals the intention to continue the story. We all know what the desire for revenge feels like. But it's really only in novels where we get to experience what it might feel like to actually let our fantasies play out. Luce Potter gives us this and so much more. Keep writing, Isabella. I need more. Now.

I love this series and was excited for Razor's Edge to be released. It was well worth waiting for. I read it from start to finish in one sitting I just couldn't put it down. This is a series I will re visit as I eagerly await the next phase of Luce and Brooke's lives.

I have really enjoyed this series, but have noticed that all three books are in need of a good editor. There are inconsistencies in the story line, for example the author kept referring to Brooke's injury sustained from her kidnapping as a stab wound when she was actually shot. There were a ton a grammatical errors also. These type of errors were present in each book of the series. That is why I have not given five stars. The story is worth five, but the constant need for editing was bothersome as I read. I would still recommend this series to anyone who likes strong female characters, a lot of action, some romance, and a bit of erotica for good measure.

This series just gets better and better. Isabella hit it out of the ball park with this one. It has intrigue, suspense, passion, determination, desire.We see Brooke step up and reveal a stronger side of herself. Luce continues to prove the toughness required for her to remain at the top of her family empire.

Always good to read about Luce and Brooke. Thrilling with lots of action. With Razor's Edge we see Brooke stand up and take control while Luce is literary tied up. Isabella always leaves us wanting more at the end.

This is a great series and have thoroughly enjoyed each installment. Lots of interwoven story lines that come together to make a continuously entertaining book. Only complaint: the installments are too far apart.

Why the 1/2-star rating for this timeless and influential classic by one of 19th-c. America's most important journalists?5 stars for this classic text -- which I've loved since I first read it in the 9th grade, as one of the texts required by my American History teacher. (Now a history teacher myself, I often share it with my students, who uniformly love it.)1/2 star for the fact that this edition of the book is a 'legal bootleg'. That is, an unnamed, mystery 'editor' has taken a book that has slipped into the public domain because the author died before 1927 (Bly died in 1922 and thus just missed the 1927 copyright cut-off); re-packaged it as an 'edited' and 'revised' edition (why isn't the editor named? why aren't the 'revisions and updates' annotated within the text, per the standard for edited histories?); and re-published it under the 'Create Space' imprimatur to enrich himself/herself without sharing a dime with Bly's estate or original publisher. (Ian L. Munro's publishing house produced the book in 1887.)This is so uncool to me as a historian, history teacher, and Nellie Bly super-fan that I have no problem undercutting the profits of the aforementioned 'legal bootlegger' by sharing the following information with anyone who is interested:(1) You can save your dough and read an estate-sanctioned, totally free, e-Book version of Bly's _Ten Days in a Madhouse_ at the University of Pennsylvania's Digital Library website. After reading all the great reviews on this book I was excited to be getting a copy and eagerly waited with intense anticipation, just to be extremely disappointed. I was left feeling like a major part of the book was missing. There were no illustrations just a reference to sketches at the end of the article. Very little was mentioned about the experiences while inside the Asylum. Everyone else must have read a different issue or something. I do NOT recommend buying this particular issue - ISBN# is in photos, as well as pic of the book cover and the "notation" about sketches. The are 52 pages/104 front and back so it doesn't appear to have pages missing, just content.

There are hand drawn illustrations throughout other publications depicting Ms. Seaman at various stages of her investigations. The backs of those books feature pictures of Ms. Seaman and a list of words that might not be well-known to modern readers. The Annotations section offers an overview of Blackwell's Island Lunatic Asylum as well as notes on Ms. Seaman's participation. Her other books are also listed. This publication offers the main story and the two articles, and nothing else.Excellent book for those interested in history or just curious about this slice of life in New York over a century ago. Nellie Bly was the pen name of Elizabeth Jane Cochrane who was an American journalist. She was born in May of 1864 and died in January 1922. While she was working for a newspaper in New York City she was given an undercover assignment to feign insanity and allow herself to be committed to the Women's Lunatic Asylum on Blackwell's Island in order to write an expose of the inhumane way the women in the Asylum were being treated by caretakers, nurses and even doctors. This book is the true account of what she observed while in that Asylum.She is amazed at how readily people in the medical profession proclaim her insane and how quickly they decide she needs to be committed to an Asylum. Once an inmate in the "Lunatic Asylum" she is dismayed when she sees the patients being taunted, laughed at, and even struck by nurses. The patients were also given inadequate clothing to keep them warm in a hospital that has no heat because the heat is turned on only for certain months of the year. She observes the cold, disgusting and inedible food that is served to the patients while the nurses are being served hot meals and being given fresh fruit.This book, which she wrote from notes she took while in the Asylum, singlehandedly brought about serious reform in this country in the way people are diagnosed as mentally incompetent and also in the way they are treated if they have to be committed. I can't say I "enjoyed" this book but it was very enlightening.

I thought about the concept for The Waterproof Coach for five years before I wrote the book. I had heard many a bored swimmer complaining about doing the same workout over and over again, many using index cards wrapped in plastic! I decided to create a book with which the swimmer could create thousands of workouts merely by arranging the segmented pages. I also decided to make the book waterproof so that the swimmer could take the pool right on deck. I hope you enjoy the result!

So cool! I first ordered another binder with workouts but since I am not training for anything major, just looking for workouts, it was out of my league. This book on the other hand is JUST what I wanted! The pages are already divided by three so each third of the page has either a warm up, main set, or cool down. That means you can flip through and make your own combination of those three components. There are a ton to choose from, and although as someone pointed out they are pretty basic that just gives you more opportunity to customize them by choosing a stroke. I recommend this for anyone who is tired of typing up and printing out workouts when they want to get a certain amount of yardage in at the pool. You won't regret it!

If you are looking for multiple swim workouts to increase your endurance in the pool, this book is for you. They have many different workouts for every stage from beginner to advanced. Lots of options for warm ups and cool downs as well. This is a really unique and useful book.

This handy, water-proof book helps me stay on track with my workouts, without getting into a rut. I love the easy-to-mix-and-match tabs. The book is easy to follow and it fits right in my swim bag!I highly recommend this book to semi-experienced swimmers who are looking to build up their workouts. For newer swimmers, you might also like this, but have patience as you learn more about swimming, techniques, and strokes.

I keep this book in my swim bag. It's become as essential an item as my swim cap and goggles! There is a fairly good variety in this book, and I like that you can mix and match the warmup, main set, and cool down. I also purchased one for my mother as a gift.The pages stick together a little when they're wet, but this hasn't bothered me.

This a great book to use. And its really waterproof! There are endless combinations of workouts to work any and all parts of the body at the same time. My only qualm with the book is that it really only focues on free style and free style drills. I am an all around swimmer- back - FLY breast strokes...I make up for by subsituting my own drills and workouts in. Thats easy for me because I used to be a competive swimmer and I taught/trained other swimmers. However for someone who is not as experienced it could limited them

I really enjoy this book. I love that I can take it to the water and pick my workouts from there. This is a great tool if you are looking to using swimming as part of your workout routine.

love how i don't have to think - i just flip through the book, find something interesting, hang it on the end of the pool and get started. its completely waterproof, and i've never done the same workout twice. I've had this book for 10+ years and just gave a copy to my nanny who is starting to do triathlons. its great for all levels too.

We really enjoyed this game. Played with our 10-year old granddaughter and she had fun too.
